Fred Montana is a cover solo artist who specializes in The Great American Song Book, the music made famous by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole and Mel Torme and renewed by contemporary celebrities Rod Stewart and Michael Bublé. He expands his repertoire with R&B, 70s singer/songwriter favorites, such as Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, Frankie Valli, as well as contemporary artist such as Michael Bublé and Zac Brown. With great respect for the iconic singers, who inspired him, Montana makes every song his own.

A regular at the acclaimed, School II Bistro and Wine Bar, Chanhassen, MN, known for its full slate of noteworthy Minnesota and National musicians and vocalists, Fred developed a huge, appreciative following there. This following has extended to Crooners in Fridley, JD Hoyt’s Supper club in Minneapolis, Falconers Vineyard in Red Wing,Trappers Landing in Walker, Biaggi’s Restaurant in Maplewood, Shorewood Landing in Minnetonka, and SummerWoods in Chanhassen. His following also extends into Northern Minnesota at Chase Hotel, the Pickled Loon, Soo Line Eatery, American Legion Cross Lake, and The Corral. He has also had sell out performances every year in New York City and is regularly scheduled in Florida, Arizona and California.
He currently has a standing performance date, once a month at JD Hoyt’s Supper Club and Trappers Landing in Walker, MN where he lends his smooth vocals to not only the classic Sinatra, Bennett and Martin songs but his wide selection of 50’s, 60’s and 70’s hits.
